Black Market Trader - Worldbuilding Project

This character was made as part of a worldbuilding project for a hypothetical RPG game. The character would be a traveling shop to be encountered by the player on their journeys.

The world is covered with rain and lightning, and metal is scarce and controlled by an authoritarian scientific faction, while the average person works in villages covered in rubber sheeting to lower the chance of lightning strikes, surrounded by towering metal pylons built to channel lightning into power, conserved in batteries.
The trader sells these batteries for heating and to power machines, along with metal spears called Lightning Catchers that the player would use as projectile weapons.

My focus was to practice an iterative process that involved material callouts and prop design, in the pursuit of creating a game-ready character concept.
